I have lived in Nanjing previously during a study abroad program and would love to go back there. I was looking at the jobs and find two totally different salaries:

http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/china/index.cgi?read=20438 offers 12,000 rmb/month with apartment and half airfare

http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/china/index.cgi?read=20424 with apartment and lots of vacation (i think?), no airfare, perhaps more hours...?

i am very new to looking for esl jobs in china, and any help as to why there is such a difference in salaries would be great!

thanks!

The second one is for an British school. This position is for a TEACHING ASSISTANT position as oppose to the first one, where you are the actual teacher that has to make the lesson plans, etc.

I sent an email to the second one about a week and half ago and have yet to hear a reply.
