Hello!
I am an English teacher with 6 years experience and I hold the Cambridge CELTA and a PGDE. I would like to know what is the going rate for a decent teaching position in the UAE?
PS Can anyone recommend a reputable employer?

Do a quick search on these quals - you might (MIGHT) get on with a language school with no benefits and not enough pay to cover a decent accomodation. Certainly no tickets home or medical and probably not a work visa (which IS required).
Not familiar with PGDE - is it a grade school teaching qualification? If so, you may have a better chance - I'm only familiar with tertiary. |
