| Has anyone heard about this new school, set to open in UAE this year? Is it standard practice to be hired in the UAE without first speaking to anyone (hired on basis of resume/CV and email correspondence)? Lastly, there is a clause in the contract stating X dollars (there is an amount stated) will be paid to selected teachers. Is this standard wording or does 'selected' leave a loophole to pay less upon arrival in the country? Any help or sane advice gratefully appreciated. Thanks very much. |

I see a big RED FLAG here... Note that the internet address ends with .tk
This is almost certainly a SCAM. Another big clue is that no legitimate school would hire someone without an interview.
Why would a school in the UAE base its website in Tokulu - a small island near New Zealand where all the scammers base themselves.
DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE

| Thanks very much for your help VS. Alarm bells would have went off if I was asked for money but your answer saves me the time and effort of doing hardcore research on the employer which seems to be what takes up way more time than actually finding a position. I appreciate your help. |
