I just graduated with a Master's degree in TESOL, and I'm trying to figure out what to do next. I'd appreciate any advice!
My original plan was to find a teaching job in a public school or university in New York, but the economy has made it tough to find a job here. Now I'm thinking about traveling, and teaching somewhere else for a while. I'm open to either going abroad, or staying in the U.S. Does anyone have any ideas on where I could go to make the most of my M.A.? Any countries or types of schools that only tend to hire teachers with higher degrees? How could I go about finding a job in a university?
I kinda wish I could just run off the most remote, adventurous-sounding place, but unfortunately, I have to start paying off my student loans, so I should probably try to find a job that pays well enough to do that. Also, I should probably mention that I'm American, but I also have Israeli citizenship, so I don't think working in most Middle Eastern countries will be possible. |

Consider some of the international schools such as those that are International Baccalaureate Organization schools (yes, I know, they spell with with an "s" instead of a "z") - www.ibo.org. |
