| How does Taichung stack up to Taipei? I've heard some good things about Taichung and the wages seem to be as good or better than in Taipei. But, I do like big cities and the social and entertainment possibilities that come with them. Also, how is the cost of living in Taichung compared with Taipei? |

The cost of living in Taichung is considerably lower than in Taipei. The weather is nicer (not sure if that is a factor) and there are many entertainment possibilities.
As for socialization....I tried a couple years ago to get social club going, but I was the only person who ever showed up for any of the events. A couple months after I gave up another person tried, but with the same result.
I've found Taipei (when I visit it) to offer far more vis-a-vis socializing. |
