How important is it to take the course in the country you hope to work?
Is it better to take a CELTA course (which promise 100% hire rates etc) here in the U.S., or take another type of course in the country where you intend to work? |

Places taht promise you will get a job can't really do so. I mean, they can get you an interview. But it's up to you whether you pass it or not.
There are pros and cons to taking the course in the country you want to live in. YOu get to know the country, but you have to pay for housing.
Whereas if you do it near your hometown, you might not have to pay for housing, plus you won't have the added stress of the new language. |
