Anyone ever send his passport to an agent in his home country for processing while he himself is sitting in another country? Seems like an idea that's loaded with dynamite. |

If you do not want to travel to your home country, what alternative do you suggest, if your visa must be processed there? |

DHLing all your paperwork to the embassy in your home country would have worked at the time when no agent was required to do the paperwork. Now, unfortunately, it's almost impossible for you to get the visa without physically being in your home country.
Nowadays with the Swine Flu virus and people scared of travelling or unwilling to spend much, KSA should look into this issue thoroughly. |

I'm doing my homework and this, unfortunately, seems to be reality. I think it pretty much IS impossible if one doesn't have something like a residency permit in the country he currently calls 'home'. |

If my home country was India, Haiti, Russia, etc., I wouldn't do it. But if it was Germany, Canada, UK, etc., I would do it in a heartbeat. |

Every Saudi Consulate seems to have its own rules. And they vary according to the client. |
