I was wondering if anyone ever worked on any of Ardmore's summer camps? If so how was it? How was teaching , materials, support etc?

I worked in China for a few years and met a couple who'd worked at an Ardmore summer camp. From their (not my) experience I'd read your contract very carefully because you may end up 'filling in' for teachers who 'haven't shown up'.

They pay a bit more than other schools but they expect you to go on excursions at the weekend sometimes. I also think their resources aren't that good either.

I worked on a summer course a few years ago in the UK for a company that joined forces with Ardmore for the year. The company I worked for is quite reputable. 8 activity staff employed by Ardmore had to pay for the luxury of wearing the blue and white Ardmore shirts. It was obligatory to have 3 Ardmore shirts each. This cost each employeee 30. Ardmore paid the princely some of 80 per week. This was 12 years ago. So some may say it was a long time ago but it begs questions about the managers and owners - are they still there? The tee shirt policy appeared to sum up the company.
