Hi all. This forum is such a great resource for newbies like me. Anyway . . .

I have a contract offer from Yangtze University in Jingzhou, Hubei Province. Pay rate is 5000 RMB per month, plus the standard free apartment, etc.

I would like to know if any of the folks here have any experience with this institution, or with Jingzhou in general. Also, is the pay rate too low for the area? Thanks for any opinions and input.

as long as you don't have to do extra office hours, etc. and you get airfare reimbursement, that salary sounds average.

Don't know anything about the school though. Did you google?

That's pretty good in my opinion. Was that salarly the initial offer?

You will probably have to pay for your own medical examination in your own country in order to obtain your invitation letter from the university.
