I know the topic's been discussed before.
Sorry, my search has not found it.
So, have any of you got experiences with them or heard anything about them?

Here below is an advert
http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/china/index.cgi?read=20494

Quote:
China Edukeys International Services
It is affiliated to CCIEE-China Center for International Education Exchange, for running PGA.
PGA is an international course suitable for Chinese High School students co-developed by the China Center for International Education Exchange and the United States, ACT Education Solutions, Limited (AES) through introduction of multi-national international course systems. The PGA program consists of a modified and embedded GAC curriculum, designed specifically for Chinese students, and delivered over the last three years of high school concurrently with the local curriculum. Launched in 2007, CCIEE now manages eleven PGA teaching centers catering to students across China. All these teaching centers are locally key schools or model schools.
It seems that there're a way too many company names mentioned and that in a very few words. I have been working for the ACT Education Solutions Limited for about 4 years. They are Australian. Their Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) program has got a copyright. It's on my books! So, what does "modified adn embedded" in this case mean?
According to my knowledge, Chinese high schools DO NOT "concurrently" carry out the GAC curriculum. Students "drop out" or shall i say leave their third grade high school studies to join the separately licensed private centers to join this program. These students are NO LONGER the high school students. Do Edukeys teach in high schools and alongside the Chinese high school curriculum? And, is their program longer than "10 months"?
By the way, if they were established in 2007, how could they be delivering this program for 3 years? Maybe, I am confused as there are too many companies mentioned in the advert.

Quote:
ACT is an independent, not-for-profit organization that provides more than a hundred assessment, research, information, and program management services in the broad areas of education and workforce development. In the United States, ACT and the SAT have become famous university entrance examinations. ACT established the ACT Education Solutions Ltd. The aim is to better promote their products in the world including GAC courses.
Is that really what the ACT is? As far as I know, both, the ACT and SAT are American college entry exams and they compete with each other for the market share. SAT tests more than just the knowledge learnt from books and so it is more difficult for Chinese students. The GAC (Global Assessment Certificate courses) is a completely different program from the ACT. We are talking about a different ball game established by one league. Wink
So, how do Edukeys deal with it?

Cheers and beers to our experiences and views on topic
