I checked this about 3 years ago and found the cheapest price also in Thailand. China was about the same price(for the actual course) but I also took into account the cost of accomodation, food and airfare for the duration of the course. Thailand, won the cost difference but not by much. |

You also have to account for round-trip airfare, which is not included in the cost of the course. Airfare from, say, the US to Thailand, China and other parts of Asia can run US$ 1,000 or more. |

yeah, with airfare, based on my research this past winter/spring, London had a few options that were the cheapest (including room/board, as well). The two centers I remember were Oxford House and Language Link. Oxford House ended up being REALLY sketchy with us, though, and we decided we'd rather go to Cairo anyway. |

Could someone post the exact price of the course please?
Also International House's course in Krakow is relatively cheap,
about 750 euros. |

Sounds like a good deal. In Prague, IH's CELTA course is costing me quite a bit more, but still less than most other courses there.
Good luck! |

Just as a heads-up, I'd be very careful with International House. I have no first hand experience, but have plenty of direct second-hand stories from both students and teachers which give me pause. I'd try to get in touch with someone who has done the course so you can talk frankly with them. |

I talked to someone who went through IH's CELTA already, but thanks for the tip |
