Hey,
Hey,
Just a couple of general inquiries in to work over in China. I am an Aussie currently living with my girlfriend over in Finland, we are really keen to get jobs in Shenzhen. As far as my teaching background goes I completed my TESOL course in 2007 with ATA TESOL and went on to complete an 8 month stint teaching 6 graders in Shanghai, China. Both me and the girlfriend have suspended our studies at university indefinitely, thus allowing us to go traveling.
I would be very grateful if some one knew of some leads in or around the Shenzhen. |

hey hey, are you going traveling or working?
my advice is to unsuspend your studies, finish them, and enable yourself to find better work in China.
Anyway, go here, sign up and join the group they have for teachers. You can make some good connections there to start off with. |

Many expat teachers are keen to the Shenzhen scene and more are on the way. Also check out www.shenzhenparty.com for job listings and networking. |

You might consider seeing if the "Shenzhen Daily" has an online version.
I once found a job via the paper version when I was in SZ. The job was in Guangzhou.
I suggest, hanging out in Shekou and see what happens.
Good Luck! |
