There is currently a vacancy for Mathematics Instructor at BAE advertised on TES.
It is under "secondary classroom teachers" but the advertisement states "a minimum of three years teaching at a college or university is required".
Does anybody know:
1. Do they employ teachers with only secondary experience?
2. What is the age of the people you are teaching there?
Cheers! |

Scovvy,
It's probably worth applying for this even if "all" you have is secondary experience.
You would be teaching 18 to 21 year old cadets from the Royal Saudi Air Force, and the "college or univertsity" stipulation has been put in to keep the RSAF oficers happy. You would, in fact, be teaching basic maths.
Remember, as well, that it would be perfectly possible for a "college lecturer" in Britain to be working in Further Education, teaching at GCSE level. |
