At 49 seconds into the video you see the world's tallest building in the distance on the right.

They should ban all the Lancruisers and only allow scooters. I now live in a place where everyone uses scooters. They are great! I even have a special rain hood!! I am a definite convert to this more eco-friendly mode of transport (unleaded gas - a lot of miles to the gallon/liter).

Scooters in a country with 50-degree Celcius temps and 90% humidity? Come on.

Mesquite must live in the temperate or even tropical area of the UAE; the area which requires having a rain hood on his/her scooter because of the daily rain.

Maybe mesquite is on to something; an income supplement from delivering pizza/papers or working at the side of the road in an orange jumpsuit along side his/her scooter may be just the trick to achieve that early retirement package in a soooo eco friendly manner.

I do believe that Mesquite was in Qatar and left there... he is describing the situation in his new country... which may very well not be anywhere near the Gulf.

"She asked knowingly..."

Yes, well...you, Veiled Sentiments would know about that more than most people.
BTW, as an American, what did you think of Ahmadinejad's speech last night?

Look, I'll save you the trouble sweetheart [Mod Edit] [Mod Edit] [Mod Edit].

Happy Rosh Hashanah!

Haven't read about it yet. Though I did get rather a chuckle out of Ghaddafi's. But he has always had a high entertainment value. A friend of mine got to meet him when her plane was hijacked from Cairo to Libya. He showed up to greet everyone. Cool
