Last time I was in Thailand American express travellers cheques were the way to go. That was ten years ago.
I can bring Euros in Cash or buy some travellers cheques in dollars - for those in Thailand now what would you recommend ?
Is it easy to change euros ? |

Either is OK. Banks take euros too. Thailand has plenty of banks.
I guess it depends on the strength of the currency that day or period. If I were in the USA, though, I wouldn't pay an exchange fee to buy cheques or convert my dollars to euros, and then you have the conversion from euros to baht here. Check the rates on line and decide. If you are bringing millions then you may be more fussy. Some people say mix your two options for security.
Generally, the banks have rates posted on boards and are fairly similar. You won't get ripped off in banks. There are a few money exchange shops that give you a cent more.
Again it depends on amounts and strengths. You wont make on the rate if your amount is not large. Cents or fractions of cents.
