| In between moving apartments I might go home for a couple of weeks. Is there anywhere in Tokyo I could store a suitcase full of stuff for a couple of weeks? |

Assuming that you have no friends nearby, could you not ask to leave it at work? (that's if it really is only one suitcase)
Otherwise, many of the major airports (and even some coach/train stations) I've been through have luggage storage areas or services. Perhaps you could find out if there is something like this in Narita or at any of the stations in city. |

Cool thanks.
Leaving it with friends or work isn't an option. Had a look at Narita and it isn't too expensive so I'll do that.
Thanks |

These places rent various sized lockers (small one meter cubes to large walk-ins) by the month:

Each have many locations throughout the city and the rents vary accordingly like apartments (i.e., the ones very close to a rail station in central Tokyo will be the most expensive, although probably cheaper than Narita airport). There is probably at least one in your neighborhood now. Look for multi-story warehouse type buildings that are mostly painted all one color with katakana characters on them somewhere for words like "taranku ruumu" and a phone number. They are "unmanned." that is, you won't find an office in them. The company will have a central office from where you would get an electronic keycard and/or entry code into the building and into each floor, and then into your locker. Good luck. |
