Heh, I just had an offer from Luizhou Railway Vocational College. It was good money, at 6000 RMB for the 1st two months and 8,000 RMB for the remaining months. This is a recognized college in Guanxi (spelling) Province and wasn't a bad gig. I just wasn't ready to start October 1 and I didn't want to work 25 hours a week for 8,000 RMB...it is 18 hours a week for the first two months. Check them out.

It might be useful to post some info about your qualifications ... at my university the chemistry teacher didn't show up, but I imagine that someone with a MS or Ph.D. in chemistry wouldn't be posting queries on Dave's.

You can bet that many schools had FT's who failed to show. But it's a bit late to be making arrangements to come now, or?

Mine didn't however, lots of happy campers for some reason.
