IH is advertising again for Saudi Arabia. This time with a 3 year contract. S Al Q wants to screw you over for three years. No NOC, even if you finish your contract. If he doesn't want you he, may take you over to Bahrain and drop you off like an unwanted dog. He did that to one teacher. Brought him in on a business visa and told him to get all his belongings together and they took him to Bahrain. They gave him a promise of a new visa and just left him there. No money, No flight....NOTHING. Granted, they had him teaching children and he DID spend 8 years in a mental institution before working for IH. But they should have at least said Good Bye.

At least he could drown his sorrows in expensive booze. It isn't really a funny joke though.

Well if that forlorn teacher were a head case, perhaps he could use that to his advantage in getting his revenge. Assuming he's from the USA, of course. He could storm the Saudi embassy in Washington with a 12 gauge and then claim he's insane...if he survives. After reading the posts here, I'm surprised some craziness like that hasn't happened already.

This could have easily happened. Don't assume the teacher was from the west. He was probably from someplace like Syria. I've heard that happened to a teacher in Thailand. But this was a teacher from Bangladesh. Nobody cared.

Everything you hear is hearsay unless you hear it direct from the source. I know an individual @ IH who has confirmed the story. The guy was taken to Bahrain & abandoned...never asked his nationality.

I was working at IH when it happened. He had a dual passport from US and UK. A Nut case-Yes. A crappy teacher-Yes..... But he still deserved to be told he was being fired.
