I have been totally frustrated with what is called Asian Food in D.F.

In the past few years I have seen the Korean population boom here, but the asian cuisine is still lacking.

Anyone know of some places that I could go and not see Nopales, Chayote, or Cream cheese in a dish?

God, what I'd do for a Sunday afternoon Dim Sum in Chinatown NYC.

As I find Cantonese inferior to Szechuan-Mandarin, my tastes in CF dont necessarily coincide with most CF aficianados, but I throw my egg roll in the ring.
My favorite Chinese eatery is in Zona Rosa at the corner of Amberes and Hamburgo. Its called the Tang, I believe, and is very close to the Tokyo Restaurant, which I also strongly recommend, and across the street from Sushi Roll. To get into the Tang you step down a foot and cross a little bridge over a fish pond stocked with koi.
The restaurant is not popular as it is not cantonese. Plus,it is about 10 pesos more in price than most other Chinese eateries.

Plus the proprietor of yore was decidedly unfriendly to the point of being rude. The restaurant was closed for most of the past year on account of not paying its taxes, but reopened a few months ago. Idont know if it is still under the same management, but the food is still excellent.

I shall try your suggestion. I have had such a yearning for Asian lately.

Anyone have a suggestion for Thai ???

My favorite Thai restaurant is Sukothai in Zona Rosa. It's on Copenhague in front of Freedom. The thom kar gai is sooooo tasty!

I still haven't had good Chinese food here. I made a point to go to a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, and the food had no flavor. I don't know why Chinese food has no flavor here. I'm starting to think Dynasty might be the best option, which is really sad.
