A friend of mine taught at DAH some years ago. She has since worked for several employers in the Kingdom, and says that DAH was by far the most professional and pleasant place to work. Of course, that was some time back and things can change quickly. However, so far as I know most of the senior management who were there then are still around now, which is probably a good sign. |

Thanks Cleopatra! Do you remember what she taught or anything about the benefits she received? If you could get me in touch with her, I would really appreciate it!! =) |

She was an ESL teacher. I don't know exactly how much she earned but she did tell me that the pay was not great. However, that really doesn't tell you much about what pay rates there might be not now - this was several years ago and salaries have risen considerably across the board in Saudi ESL since then. She did say the benefits were good, with decent on-compound holidays and long summer leave. Again, though, you'd really need to speak to a current teacher to know how things are right now - things may have changed, not neccessarily for the better. |
