Have come to the stage in my cert IV TESOL {CELTA} where I will have to do my teaching hours very shortly. I would like to do the 20 hrs required in Viet and was wondering if anyone could advise me how to go about getting a school to allow me to do this.... Would need to be somewhere that I can get my hours signed off by qualified teacher.
Would prefer a school etc that is respected as I wish to teach in Viet when qualified and dont fancy putting my free hours in for some flybynight teaching company. My prefered fields are adults, would love to teach military/police if possible, although am aware that in parts of the world they are the last to recieve a decent education.
Any advice most welcome... |

Sorry to disillusion you but in Vietnam both the military and the Police receive an excellent education. It is impossible that you would be able to teach those groups as only highly qualified and experienced teachers are assigned to them. As with all Government contracts. |

am not going to spend time on this subject as I have had reports from teachers on the ground that are not so flattering as far as english goes for members of the military/ploice....high ranking personel maybe...anyway seperate issue and I have my military back ground that may be of some help..
My issue at the moment is finding a school that will permit me to do my prac teaching hours and be able to sign me off on compltetion. |
