|
|
Hi everyone, I recently moved from London to DF, and am teaching at International House in Condesa. I'm a big fan of Mexican food, and was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to find chiles en nogada here? It doesn't have to be a five-star restaurant or anything, just somewhere that does them at a reasonable price and decent quality.
Thanks!

I saw a plate of chiles en nogada on display here in Polanco at the door of Boca del Ro. It's located on the corner of Masaryk and Temistocles. Probably a little expensive, though.
I live in Condesa, but I've never eaten chiles en nogada there! So, here's a link to a list of Mexican restaurants in Condesa:

Maybe that will help you! Good luck! |

There's a place on the corner of Sonora & Avenida Chapultepec famous for them, but I can't remember the name. |

I've seen a place on James Sullivan near Insurgentes and Reforma. It has a big sign that says that they make them. It is generally full of people during the afternoons. |

Chiles en nogada are ubiquitous at this time of year, so the point isn't to discuss where you can find them - rather, which are the best? |

I asked my boyfriend, who is Mexican, where to go for chiles en nogada, and he told me that these days it's not where you go, but who makes them, "because it's just one of those dishes."
I guess that doesn't help much |
