There are some (2) inexpensive hostels out by the Bund. I think they go for about 55 yuan a night and it's not very far (10 minute walk) from Central Henan subway stop. One has a sailor theme in their bar above, but unfortunately I don't remember the name or the street it is on. It is towards the north end of the Bund though. Maybe someone on www.lonelyplanet.com would know the exact address. |

Hi Dan,
I noticed your posting. I may be able to help you out. I have a rather large apartment with an extra room. The room will be available perhaps on the 5th of February. Anyways, give me a call as I may be able to refer you to some companies as well.

|
|
Anyone know the name of these hostels, and address, mentioned by the previous poster?
I just returned from HK, and paid 650 HK $ for express visa same day service for 6 months muti-entry F BUSINESS category. 550 for next day service. Very nice people. APT TRAVEL IN KOWLOON. #8-10 Hankow Rd, kittycorner from McDonalds and near Starbucks. Went to Macau, they wanted 1300 HK $ at China Travel Service!!! There MAY be other places, but I jumped on the jetfoil catamaran and hightailed it to HK!!
Still looking for good job leads in Shanghai if anyone has leads.

Hi Dan -
I was just curious as to why you are leaving Guangzhou.
No work? Didn't like the city?
I'd like to know because I was thinking of going there. Thanks for any info you can offer. |
