2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house for rent - Sept. 12 availability
4 x 12 x 2 floors = 98 square meters

8 million VND per month plus a 2 month security deposit
Electricity, Water, Telephone, Cable, and Internet (broadband) are extra

On Phan Dang Luu street between Dinh Tinh Hoang street and Phan Dinh Phuong (Hai Ba Trung) street. It's set back about 80 meters back off of the main road in one of those dead-end alleys at the very back which makes it pretty quite but not noiseless. The location makes for quick access to Dist. 1 & 3, the Airport (Tan Binh Dist.), or Dist. Binh Thanh.

Partially furnished by the landlady but you can buy all, part, or none of our stuff to be completely set-up, if you want - it's up to you but all prices are negotiable if you're interested.

The Kitchen does have upper and lower cabinets - a double sink - a vent hood for the stove - and a fridge. It's an older style but pretty nice for VN.

Security isn't a problem, we have double front doors and a single back door (which makes for good ventilation) but BOTH have those sliding steel security doors outside of that. AND a police station is about 300 meters away. We've lived here almost 2 years and have never had a single problem partly because everybody knows everybody which makes for a type of a "Neighborhood Watch" thing.

The owner doesn't speak English but my wife can help you negotiate the contract, if you need her help. We're moving out in the morning of Sept. 12 and you could move in as soon as the afternoon, if you want to.

The owner wants a married couple or 2 single women but she'd probably be willing to accept an unmarried couple or 2 single guys for an extra million VND per month (I don't really know this but greed is the great persuader) and still half the price of the apartment that Handyman posted.

She prefers to be paid by bank transfer (but cash is OK also) so you might not have to see or talk to her again until the end of the contract.
