I've been offered an MA in ELT, from University of Limerick, Ireland. I was wondering if this would qualify me to teach in a primary school in the USA? Would I also need to get certified in order to teach? I appreciate any advice you may have to offer..

That depends on whether your MA is accepted in the US - not all foreign degrees are. And if you want to teach in the government indoctrination centers (public schools), you'll need to get a teacher's license from whichever state you want to teach in (or a state that has a reciprocity agreement with the state you want to teach in). |
