Any expats in Kurdistan bought a car yet?

Now, I know there's no insurance and lots of people drive towards you on your side of the road and that your adverage Kurdi 'bobby' causes more accidents when waving to friends while directing traffic, but you know, maybe someone has taken the plunge.

Hi Van Gogh,

One of our colleagues here in Erbil has just bought a car - a white (like all the cards here) peugeot. And my partner has both owned and rented in the past... Next time you are visiting, that colleague can give you the lowdown. And if you decide you are in the market for one, my partner can likely help you find one to purchase.
