I'm an experienced (6yrs+) TEFLer who's only taught in Thailand. My wife is having a baby in 8 months, and I want to get rich quickly (!) TEFLing in another country. I see lots of 12 month gigs, but where are the 6 month contracts? Any suggestions?
Cheers! |

Get rich in six months?
I'll be curious if anyone has any positive responses! |

I'm thinking maybe your thread is an attempt at humor. I've never heard of anyone getting rich (using Messiah Obama's definition of rich, i.e. anyone making more than US$250,000 a year) teaching English as a foreign language. If you find such a position, don't tell anyone because they'll likely want to compete with you for it. |

There's a contract running from January to May in Siberia. You get a free flat, bills and fast internet. It's in a town. So, although the salary isn't great, you can save quite a lot if you don't spend your time going to the big city for the high life. Nice students too, both adults and adolescents. As I get occasional communications problems getting on the forum, please email me at [email protected] if you want more details. |
