Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give the heads up that I had a man named "Gerald Pierre" make me a fraud offer from a legit school in Istanbul. He didn't give me a job interview (online or over the phone) and offered me a position immediately.

He contacted me through different emails addresses in regards to the same position, one was @live.com and the other was @alumnidirector.com which is listed on a fraudwatch website (http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/view.php?pg=fwmailcom). When I checked out the school online, all of the staff had emails along the lines of [email protected] but the man who contacted me did not have a similar account.

The logo on the contract did not match the logo on the school website. He offered me $12900 US per month in addition to housing, a laptop, a landline, mobile and all sorts benefits.

His immigration agent is named John England a.k.a. Aliko Zwingi. They wanted me to send a copy of my passport page and pay for a visa to this immigration. Why would they need me to pay for the visa which they would reimburse if they could afford such a ridiculour wage (for an elementary position for someone without experience)? Why would I pay for a work visa for Turkey when I have dual Canadian-Turkish citizenship (which I told him)?

While this guy is clearly an amature I just wanted to give a heads up as I am sure he's emailing as many people as he can and playing the numbers game that it hundreds are contacted at least one person will fall for it.

Keep safe, keep smart, and do you research!

Cheers

If this scammer doesn't delete one of the zeros in his salary offer, EVERYONE's gonna know immediately it's a scam (or should!!).
