I applied for a job in early August, did a medical"as requested",signed a contract and have been waiting 6 weeks for the work visa and still no idea when it will be done.I have just since found out that the agent has sent to the PSB a false college degree and said i worked 3 years in China before even though none of this is true and without my knowledge and permission.I have had 1 year teaching experience
"in China" and have no college or Uni degree, i do however have a TESOL certificate.I am currently in Australia.I have been told to come on a f visa and the school will sort out the rest or extend my visa when i arrive.I won't do this because i know that legally you need a z visa to teach in China. The province is Fujian province and i know the procedure will be slower now because of the Oct 1 holiday approaching.
If i waited for the work visa and took the job then i would be working in a job that i got with false credentials doctored from the agent. Can i get caught and in trouble? If i don't take this job am i bound by the signed contract? What do you guy's think?

Cut and run. Find somewhere that will employ you legally, and provide the correct documentation obtained through the correct channels.
