Hi I'm a 33 year old Australian. I've been teaching in Vietnam for the last year and have a CELTA. I studied Mandarin in high school and university and are looking to head to either Beijing or Shanghai to teach next year (March)

I have found a few jobs on the internet that pay around 10,000rmb a month. I was wondering, with the experience and qualifications I have, if i could land a job paying 10, 000 a month in eijing or Shanghai?

Also, I've heard both of these cities are quite expensive. Is 10, 000 a monh enough to live comfortably. I'll have around $2,500 USD to take with me to set up a new apartment and cover living expenses before my first pay. Does this seem like enough mony as a buffer?

Also, would it be possible to get my health check for a Z-visa done at an international hospital/clinic in Vietnam?

Thanks
