hi im new to this forum...ive worked in egypt for the past 3years Im a qualified primary school teacher.I just cannot believe the salaries people are working for or offered on this forum.In Sharm one school paid 13,000le a month & a 2bed apartment others pay less than 6000le but thats because they hire unqualified.
I moved to Alex where my salary was 11,000le other unqualifed teachers were earning 15,000le!!The school is run by liars and cheats and I would not reccomend it to anyone but their salaries were good enough.I stayed for my one year contract and decided not to renew it as i have morals...You would not believe what goes on in the school. I have friends working in others schools in Alex and their salaries range from 16-20000le a month and 2bed apartments in Rousdy.(school has no vacancies this year...I wonder why )
Anyway I am currently looking for a new position in Alex I do know its late but I had to return home for a number of months.
If anybody has any ideas of schools still recruiting please let me know!!

| There is one school in all of Alexandria that offers salaries like you're talking about, Schutz American School. |

| No I didnt work in Schutz it was IBSA and the other school that offers a good salary is BSA. Also know people in the America school (not schutz!) and their salary is 2000usd a month and accomadation allowance! |
