Hello Everybody,
I am wondering how much information to include on my resume? How much "personal" information and data should be visible for potential employers. I am new to this whole process and have seen postings about questionable schools and am hesitant to provide my entire history, address, etc.
I appreciate your input - |

If you use the headings 'relevant experience' and 'relevant education' you can keep the whole thing much more manageable. As someone who screens job candidates for 'our' university, I can tell you that this is what I put in my succinct reports anyway.
Depending on the region of the world you're applying in (if it's a CV, it's usually for Europe, I think), it may be normal to include a recent picture and your birthdate, nationality, and marital status.
I realise that this info isn't politically correct in North America, but it's normal in some regions. |
