Hi

Have had a look around the forum a bit and it seems that September-October is the best time to be in Spain job hunting.

I'm planning to come mid-end of November, is this a bad idea?

I've got a CELTA, 1 1/2 year's of experience, what are the chances of me getting a job in Barcelona? Would it be better for me to wait until January?

It's still not too late: the season in Spain has started very late this year and last year, and people were certainly picking up company classes mid-October/early November.

It's still probably better to come before New Year and pick up work as you go: there is a second mini-peak season, but also a load of new teachers arriving too.

(don't forget that most TEFL teachers are not paid over Christmas in Spain so make sure you have savings to tide you over that bump)

Hey - I'm arriving this Monday, so if you come a little earlier than planned, give me a shout!

Cheers
