Hey everybody!
It's been a long time since I've been on here. Just got CELTA certified. Yay! Also have 4 years experience and a minor TEFL cert. B.A. and B.Comm. What are some of the best choices in Asia and ME for someone with these qualifications and no masters. I am considering a Masters in Education with some TESL courses but a major in Curriculum Studies instead of TESL so that I could branch out into other areas of education.
Thanks! |

What do you mean by best choices?
Less hours?
High pay?
Nice view?
Lots of vacation?
Knowing this will help |

Best mix of the above. And who doesn't care so much about Masters. |

I'd try China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand. |

I DEFINITELY second Glenski's suggestion. Get on the Jet Program(me) and work for a posting near Tokyo or Osaka. Then, get on with Temple University in either of those two burgs. As a JET, you'll have TONS of free time to study (not like me who did my M.Ed. in TESOL at Temple Fukuoka with a brand-new son and working full time at NOVA...jes' to make the ends meet). By the time you finish, say, two years doing this, voila!, you'll have your Masters and will be ready for the big times.
The ball's in your court.
Think about it...
