Not sure what this has to do with Saudi. They are not included on the map. Did you post this on the wrong branch?

There are Middle East countries on the map, so perhaps this should be on the General Middle East board, if at all.

I beg to differ.

Pfft...if at all? Did a hippie once place a flower in the barrel of your rifle?

Please accept my apologies. It seems this "march" will fly over S.A.
The Kingdom's granting of airspace speaks to a tolerance of peace-niks versus an acceptance.

Ho ho, a 'global march for peace' featuring such peace-loving nationss as the US, Israel and North Korea.

What can one say, really?

Dear Cleopatra,

"What can one say, really?"

Only, perhaps, that one would rather see them marching for peace than marching to war.

Regards,
John

Yes, you had to enlarge it enough to see that it flew from Jordan to the UAE it looked like.

When I see things like this, my immediate thought is... what a huge waste of resources in a total waste of time.

That's not very fair, Cleopatra. The US is a peace loving nation. And it does more for the rest of the world than the rest of the world does for themselves or each other.

Once again, Winston Churchill put it well, I think:

"The United States invariably does the right thing, after having exhausted every other alternative."

Can you really write that with a straight face? I certainly couldn't read it without laughing out loud.

It may be true of many of its citizens, but it has never been the policy of the US government.

Uncle Sam wants you - and you and you!
Uncle Sam needs to hire 273,000 new employees for '`mission critical" jobs, those positions deemed essential for an agency to fulfill its mission. In total, over four years, the study estimates the government will have to hire nearly 600,000 people for all types of jobs, including those hired by the FBI to catch Mr Bin Laden in Tora Bora!!!!!

NCTBA, any progress in the latter mission? Laughing Laughing

These comments are the reason Obama lashed out at the world last week, requesting a cease of blaming the United States while simultaneously requiring it fix all their problems, and asked them to instead be a part of the solution.

There are people dying in Africa and Afghanistan and it's not because America is not peaceful, and it's not a joke.
