				| Social Insurance is a huge chunk out of my paycheck (30,000). I am only here for 4 months, so I can't even claim my pension back.
Is there anyway I can unenroll in any element of the social insurance (health or pension)?

 Thanks!

				| Nope.
All you could do would be to enrol on shakai hoken, if your company supports that.

Like most countries, no, you don't get to opt out even though you'll never collect. That's life. Sorry.
