I've heard that Grendal got arrested. Any denials? As I said, it's only something I've heard.

This is the presumptuous newbie who, about six months ago, suggested I was a liar about the specific location where I work in Saudi.

My comment was just an aside. I did hear he got arrested; anyone know if it's true or not?

Yes my execution is set for next month. I am in my cell right now, funny it feels like the previous classroom I was teaching in, and there is a good movie coming on so I don't have much time.

Regards

Grendal

ps never doubted your place sheik just was wondering if you were at Qassim University too. (newbie, I kinda like that. It makes me feel hundreds of years younger)

Well, suh, you are good-natured after all. I tip my hat. I am within sight of Qassim U but don't work there. Let's put it this way: Dubai flights are very convenient.

Actually, "Nuts" wasn't the actual term used. In fact it was a two-worded response in which the second word was "you!"

Naw, most accounts endorse the "Nuts" reply. I've even lived near the Bastogne area for six years and never heard anything different. The word was a mild expletive in those days. There's even a "Nuts" restaurant/pub on McAuliffe Square in Bastogne...not that that proves anything, but as I said, no one has ever disputed it in Bastogne...nor any US officer who'd been there back in the day.

So........I'm a victim of revisionist history on the word of an anonymous source on an EFL board? I'll need more "proof" than that.
