I have my original BA Diploma in English, but only one, and can't get more as I have an ongoing student loan dispute right now with my uni in America. I dont want to permanently surrender the only original I have.
As for undergrad transcripts, I unfortunately only have photocopies, as they too are on hold due to the above dispute.
Will this suffice in Turkey? I also have a 40 hour i to i tefl thing, no classroom hours just online. |

Photocopied BAs are ok (Mine is a photocopy too). I can only imagine that photocopied transcripts would be fine too as your institution is only going to photocopy them themselves before they send them to the relevant government body.
This is assuming, of course, that you're worried about the government accepting them (i.e. working legally). Individual schools should certainly accept photocopies (if they even care at all). |

| well sometimes I think I should worry about working illegally, others times I feel like winging it and seeing what happens. Not sure how to go. If its aas hard as it seems to get these lying owners to get you legal, then I may have to wing it. Whats the chances of getting caught in a huge city like Ist as opposed to a smaller city like adana or Bursa? |

I'd say that the chances of getting caught working illegally in Istanbul are very small, but it does happen. I'd rather not get into a lengthy discussion on this topic, especially after the earlier, similar thread got locked for no apparent reason. Suffice it to say that although working illegally is never a good idea, it is, unfortunately, a reality in our profession in many countries across the world.
Feel free to PM for specific questions. |

You can make notarised copies of your documents so you do not have to use the originals.
In a lot of countries you can get those for a fee at the office of the city hall/muncipality's office.
That is also what I did when my employer wanted the documents to arrange my visa. |
