Hi everyone,

Has anyone heard of this EFL company in Kofu? Nothing comes up in a search. Their terms seem standard enough (23 contact hours, 250,000 p/m, 3 weeks and national holidays off p/a etc) and their contract doesn't ring any alarm bells. Anyone know anything about them?

Read the contract closely and post anything you think is unusuall and we can help you out.

Or post the whole thing to be safe!

Otherwise not much to go on.

Though, if I recall correctly, someone posted their contract here several months back.

Can't recall the board review.

Thanks for your input guys.

I don't really want to post the contract here cos of confidentiality reasons, and cos there really was nothing in in that had me thinking 'Run! Run away!' But often you only know what a place is like by talking to people who have experience of it. I seem to have hit a dead end though...

Shmooj, ta for the link. I did find it, but even though the writer works at Unitas, there isn't much about the actual work day, so it wasn't overly helpful. Ta anyway though.

Ask to speak to a current teacher of theirs. If they won't, than that should tell you something. They shouldn't have anything to hide if they are a good company.
