Social Insurance is a huge chunk out of my paycheck (30,000).
I am only here for 4 months, so I can't even claim my pension back.
Is there anyway I can unenroll in any element of the social insurance (health or pension)?
Thanks!

Nope.
All you could do would be to enrol on shakai hoken, if your company supports that. |

Like most countries, no, you don't get to opt out even though you'll never collect. That's life. Sorry. |

Are you paying shakai hoken now? Or kokumin kenko hoken? |
