Hey everybody-
I moved down here teach in Escazu about 2 months ago from Korea. To start, it is in so many ways the complete opposite situation of where I was teaching before (both though positive experiences). I got my work simply by emailing all the international schools, sending my info and qualifications, and one responded with an offer to talk over skype. After that, I had the job, and that was that, and I only really have 1 full year teaching experience (I am 25). The one thing I miss is having a community of teachers who are all traveling, doing the same thing, to adventure around with and go out with. If any of you are new to the area, looking for apartments or looking to meet more people let me know. And if you need any help trying to find work or figuring your way around, I can try to help you the best I can!

Off topic but...

Do you really spell your name J-U-S-T-E-N? I've only met one other person in world who spelled it that way. Perhaps I'll hit you up when my lovely lady and I make it down to CR in July. We're really excited about it!
