Dear ESL Cafe Ecuador experts.
Following the changes to the T-3 Ecuadorian tourist visa (i.e not being able to re-enter the country for a further 9 months once your T-3 has expired) I was wondering if any one knew if the same rules applied for the 12 IX visa?
My 12 IX visa is due to expire on 29th Jan and I wanted to know if I would be able to leave in Jan and re-enter the country on a T-3 visa within a month.
I�m asking as I want to fly to Panama from Quito and then travel overland through Central America. I know I need some sort of return/onward ticket out of Panama for the airline to let me board in Quito. The cheapest option would be a Quito-Panama return, but there�s no point me purchasing this if legally I�d not be allowed to return Quito! Unfortunately the lady in Copa wasn�t a lot of help.
Any advice/help you could provide would be very much appreciated.
