Three very different places.
Qassim is Nejd heartland and very conservative. Nejran is interesting but not well-developed. Yanbu is a modern New Town on the Red Sea. A lot would depend on who your employer is.
A lot also depends on you and what you want. If you are a true believer, then Qassim might be the place for you. |

Dear freesoul,
Many might well agree with your posting in order of "desirability."
Personally, I'd favor Najran over Yanbu - but then, the way I see it, Yanbu has the worst of both worlds: the old and the new.
I didn't go to Saudi to experience the dubious "joys" of modern life (technologically speaking), and, if I'd had my druthers, I would have chosen Najran over either Riyadh or even Jeddah.
Experience Najran (and places like it) before they disappear entirely, and all the world is the same planet-wide strip-mall or Super-Gotham.
Regards,
John |
