Does anyone out there have the correct figures for confirmed swine flu students in Kuwait private schools?
Today KUNA printed this :
'On Sunday, parents reportedly withdrew their children from a primary school in the Nahdha area after receiving reports of existing A(H1N1) cases among students and teachers.
Sources close to the Ministry of Education have intimated that a Kuwaiti female teacher, who is suspected to have had contracted the disease, was asked to stay away from school until shes examined.''
One school, ATIS in Sabah al Salem closed a class of year 4s on Wednesday and there are 9 confirmed cases there.
I heard KES has 6 and ASK 4, CES Hawalli 7.
Think we need to get this info out there as some schools are saying there are NO confirmed cases which is downright stupid. |

There are several cases at ATIS. The year 4 class has since been re-opened. |

One school director was overheard preventing her principal on Wednesday from informing parents that there was a case in the school.
I think parents have a right to know if there are cases in the school and also if there are any teachers infected.
Rommel where are you by the way? teaching elem or high school? |

Not surprising, given their track record. Education takes a big back seat to the dinar.
I'm in elem. |
