I've bee to the blue parrot before and I was dissapointed basically! She offered me pittens for some good books. |

I'm assuming you're selling English language books, and no, unfortunately there is nowhere in Tokyo that I know of that will give you a lot of money for used books (assuming they are not rare collector's editions). Though, did you request credit versus cash? The credit option does give you more kick for your yen.. |

gaijinalways is right- Blue Parrot, Good Day Books, they all pay about the same (or actually give the same kind of credit vouchers), i.e. not very much.
Chains like Book Off give even less. |

I know a teacher who sells on Amazon. You never know when you will get a buyer though.
Book Off picks up for free, but they give you barely any money.
I heard there was going to be some book exchange at JALT.
Blue Parrot will pick up if you have 50 books or more. |
