Hey everyone, I just finished teaching in Korea for 2 1/2 years, and I have a few questions about teaching in Argentina.
In Korea, it's easy to find a stable full-time contract with one school.
I've read its quite different down in Argentina, where you find part-time work here and there.
I'm wondering how many hours/week you are working, and at how many different schools? I want to get a feel for how much running around I'd have to do. How many hours/week are neccessary to make enough $$ to break even, and will I be able to find that much work?

oh, and one more question: One of the schools I taught at in Korea was the Wall Street Institute. I hear that this schools is in Argentina too. Has anyone worked there before, or know someone who is? I'm hoping to apply there, and would like to hear how the WSIs are in Argentina.

thanks!

There is some information here, i too would like to know how accurate it is, and how hard it is to get teaching hours.

they say 95ARS an hour is typical.

If I was working there all I would want would be to break even and learn Spanish, how possible is this?
This is not a holiday and i absolutely do not want to have to dip into my savings.
How much momey does one need a month just to pay rent / electricity and eat food? Since this is the first question EVERYONE asks it's amazing how hard it is to find an answer.

Will being an EU and not an American citizen make it much harder to find a job?
