I am an Australian national currently working in SK.
I am thinking about applying for a position at a public school in Japan.
Can anyone recommend a good recruiter who supplies teachers for government schools? |

Is the position advertised directly? That is, can you bypass the (unnecessary) recruiter and apply directly? Such positions are rare but a better route than going through a recruiter or dispatch agency.
If it absolutely requires an agency, it might help to know where the school is. |

Sounds as though they don't have any particular school in mind; just that they want to find a job and want somebody to them them where to apply. |

You should just look on Gaijinpot for job ads and hope for the best. This isn't SK where there are tons of recruiters hungrily gobbling up every applicant, there are enough teachers already in Japan to fill up most of the jobs here. If you're applying from overseas, the companies that will be interested in you will be a lot fewer in number. Also, the next round of public school jobs won't be starting until April, is that what you were planning on? |
