|
|
Hi guys
I am a fully qualified chartered accountant with a BSc degree and am about to begin a sabbatical to travel the world.
One of the things i am very keen on trying to do is some teaching in the Far East.....not sure whether this will be possible as i dont have any form of teaching qualification, and dont really have the cash at the moment to do one of teh TEFL courses. My only teaching experience has been through Camp America teaching sports to yougn children.
Bearing in mind my limited level of experience, is this something that i am going to be able to do? I was hoping on working for about 6 months. Alternatively, can anyone suggest work opportunities in the Far East which may suit my background a little better?
Any pointers or advice at all much appreciated.
Cheers in advance

Only 6 months? I'll politely steer you clear of Japan. Stay for a year, and you're minimally qualified, like most newbies here, but the market is pretty full at the moment. |

Hi mrs 201!
Yes, I agree concerning Taiwan and China.
You could also take a look at S.Korea - contracts are usually for 1 year but due to the demand for teachers you might find shorter contracts becoming available.
Hope it helps!
