I know that straightforward esl teaching at universities has been discussed in many threads, but I'm more interested in finding out about studying for a postgraduate qualification, or finding a research position. If it happens to include teaching that's great, but it's not a priority. |
What major? How's your Japanese? Where are you willing to go to study? Would you be interested in distance learning (like what a few universities here offer, such as Temple)? What sort of "research" are you talking about?

Is it possible to sign up for a masters or PhD here at a Japanese university? Are pre-requisite qualifications from non-Japanese universities accepted? Does this work very differently to other countries? |
Answer the above questions first, please, and then I have more to go on. |
