|
|
The school I work for broke my contract. They changed it from a monthly salary to an hourly wage. Of course, this amount is much lower than we are being paid now, and there is no guarantee of the amount of hours.
I asked how this pay cut affected the contract. I was told that this "change in policy" invalidated the contract.
Any thoughts or advice?
This is an American incorporated company operating in Mexico. I am a U.S. citizen.
Thanks. |

See how much the difference in pay would be. If worse comes to worse, simply leave. |

Is this just you, or is it everybody? IF there are several teachers in the same boat, get together and see if you can pressure them, by ALL regretting that, due to your personal needs, if they can't honor your original terms, you'll have to leave.
If it's just you, walk.
Best,

If it's just you: leave. Immediately.
If it's all of you: get together and leave. Immediately.
Once an employer starts playing games, it doesn't stop.
(Just my opinion and experience.) |
